Responsibilities

• Plan and maintain a content calendar delivering 3-4 posts per week across Instagram and TikTok
• Create original photo and video content featuring LOVECHROME products, and edit/repurpose existing brand assets as needed
• Write captions and copy aligned with the brand's voice and aesthetic
• Post content according to the agreed schedule
• Monitor and respond to comments and DMs in a timely, on-brand manner
• Listen to community feedback and customer questions to inform future content ideas and messaging
• Build community engagement, including identifying opportunities to connect with followers and relevant accounts
• Submit content for approval prior to posting during the initial period, transitioning to greater autonomy as trust is established
• Track basic engagement metrics and share performance updates

Requirements

• Some experience with social media content creation is a plus, but not required — undergraduate or graduate students seeking internship experience are welcome to apply
• Comfort with photography/videography and basic photo/video editing tools (e.g., Canva, CapCut, Adobe apps, or similar)
• Strong written communication skills in English; ability to write engaging, concise captions
• Genuine interest in social media trends, particularly on Instagram and TikTok
• Comfortable managing direct communication with followers and customers via comments and DMs
• Ability to pick up on brand voice and audience preferences, and translate them into content ideas
• Self-motivated and reliable, able to manage a consistent posting schedule independently
• Interest in or familiarity with the beauty, hair care, or lifestyle product space is a plus
• Portfolio or examples of past content (personal or professional) is helpful but not required
