ABOUT NEAT METHOD

NEAT Method is a luxury lifestyle service specializing in professional home organization. We design highly functional, visually cohesive systems that simplify everyday life for our clients. Our work spans everything from move-ins and post-renovation resets to whole-home organization projects.

Our clients range from busy professionals and families to passionate collectors. Many of our projects take place in large New York apartments, brownstones, and newly renovated homes where thoughtful systems and attention to detail are essential.

Our team takes pride in delivering an elevated organizing experience along with calm, streamlined spaces that make homes easier to live in.

POSITION OVERVIEW

We’re looking for a creative, detail-oriented Social Media Intern to support content creation for a growing home organization and design-adjacent business. This role is ideal for someone who loves interiors, has a strong visual eye, and is excited to turn real client projects into polished, engaging social content.

You’ll join us on-site at select projects to stage, capture, and conceptualize content, then bring it to life through editing and social media execution.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Attend 2-4 project sessions per month (typically 1–3 hours each, scheduled flexibly) across Manhattan and Downtown Brooklyn
  • Style and stage spaces for optimal photo/video capture
  • Shoot photo and video content (primarily iPhone)
  • Edit content into Instagram Stories, Reels, and static posts

WHAT MAKES SOMEONE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE

  • Strong visual eye for interiors, styling, and composition
  • Experience with video editing (CapCut, InShot, Adobe Premiere, or similar)
  • Familiarity with Instagram and TikTok trends, formats, and pacing
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently
  • Comfortable being on-site in active client spaces
  • Reliable, organized, and communicative
  • Background or interest in interior design, home organization, or lifestyle content
  • Experience growing or managing a social media account
  • Basic photography skills

WHAT YOU’LL GAIN

  • Hands-on experience creating content in real homes and projects
  • Portfolio-worthy before/after transformations
  • Insight into a growing service-based business
  • Creative ownership and opportunity to contribute ideas

COMPENSATION

  • Hourly or stipend-based (based on experience)
  • Flexible scheduling

SCHEDULE

This is a project-based, part-time role with work scheduled primarily during weekday business hours (Monday–Friday). Project schedules vary week to week depending on client needs.

HOW TO APPLY

Please submit your resume and portfolio along with a brief note explaining why you’re interested in joining the NEAT Method team to neatnychiring@gmail.com. Applications submitted through LinkedIn will not be reviewed.
