Social Media Content Creator & Brand Manager

About The Job:

We are looking for creative, TikTok-savvy content creators to produce engaging short-form videos for officially licensed products tied to some of the world’s biggest brands. From the NFL, NBA, and MLB to Disney, Marvel, and Warner Bros., you’ll help bring iconic entertainment and fan-favorite brands to life through trend-driven, scroll-stopping social content.

You will have access to our showroom and new media studio in the heart of Manhattan. You can expect to spend 1-2 days per week in the showroom, with access to products and assets needed to create for social. The work will be directed by our sales and marketing team, and you will have creative freedom to shape social content for The Northwest Group and our licensors.

Requirements:

- At least 1-2 years of social media experience 

- Experience creating TikTok or Reels content

- Comfortable on camera (or voiceover style)

- Ability to shoot/edit on phone

- Experience with TikTok Shop or affiliate content

- Experience with TikTok ads (ecommerce)

- Very knowledgeable on current Tiktok trends and “sides of Tiktok” (ie. Booktok, Sportstok, etc)

Responsibilities:

- Create TikTok videos every week

- Film product-focused lifestyle content (cozy setups, gifting, reactions, unboxing)

- Follow trending TikTok formats

- Recruit TikTok creators (if necessary) to create posts and reach weekly post goals

- Manage TikTok Shop affiliate program

- Track creator performance and sales

- Build long-term creator relationships with TikTok creators

- Focus on building brand engagement and exposure for the company

- Map out social calendars

- Report weekly or biweekly progress

- Manage 1-2 independent creative contractors (TBD)
