Job Summary
Own the visuals and short-form content for a political news brand, delivering on-brand graphics and video across major platforms while keeping a clean, modern look and collaborating on creative ideas.
- Design and brand stewardship: own graphics for Instagram, TikTok, X, and LinkedIn.
- Video and content execution: edit reels and brainstorm with the team to fuel engagement.
- Consistency and collaboration: uphold a cohesive voice and style across all posts.
Job Description
Responsibilities
- Design social media graphics and branded content for Instagram, TikTok, X, and LinkedIn
- Edit short-form videos for social platforms
- Help maintain a consistent visual style and voice across everything we post
- Brainstorm and execute content ideas alongside Alex and the team
Requirements
- Experience with design tools such as Canva, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Video editing skills using tools like CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or Final Cut Pro
- A strong eye for clean, modern design and brand consistency
- Comfortable creating content for short-form platforms (Reels, TikTok, Shorts)
- Passionate, dedicated, and a strong team player
Preferred
- A portfolio, reel, or samples of past work (school projects and personal pages absolutely count) are a big plus.
