Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow social media channels (Reddit, Twitter/X, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Discord)
  • Create and schedule engaging, platform-native content: memes, short-form videos, dev updates, player shoutouts, etc.
  • Track and analyze social KPIs to optimize content strategy and engagement.
  • Plan and execute campaigns for game updates, launches, seasonal events, and creator contests.
  • Collaborate with game developers and artists to ensure consistent branding and messaging.
  • Identify influencers, creators, and communities for collaborations and partnerships.
  • Foster active, respectful communities on Discord and in-game channels.
  • Respond to player feedback, report bugs to devs, and keep the community loop informed.
  • Launch and manage feature spotlights, social polls, or culturally relevant posts to boost community involvement.

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of experience in video game marketing, community management, or social media content creation.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms.
  • Proven ability to grow online audiences and engage creator-focused communities.
  • Skilled in short-form video editing tools (e.g., CapCut, Premiere Rush, TikTok editor).
  • Experience with social media scheduling tools (e.g., Later, Hootsuite, Buffer).
  • Excellent copywriting skills tailored for a broad range of audiences.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret engagement metrics and pivot accordingly.
  • Passion for games, creators, and the evolving genres.

Preferred

  • Experience launching or promoting games on small to medium platforms.
  • Familiarity with Discord moderation bots and server structuring.
  • Influencer outreach or creator partnership experience.
  • Graphic design skills (Canva, Photoshop) for quick-turnaround content.
