Job Summary

Own campus content production for UF Digital Worlds Institute by coordinating with the Multimedia Producer, driving social and blog/newsletter storytelling, and coordinating campus interviews to keep brand messaging consistent.

  • Brand and creative ownership: brief with the Multimedia Producer to ensure consistent messaging across channels.
  • Content calendar execution: manage posts on Instagram, LinkedIn, and other platforms.
  • Campus collaboration: coordinate interviews and content features with student and alumni communities.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Responsibilities: Work directly with the Multimedia Producer to brief creative needs and ensure consistent brand messaging.
  • Responsibilities: Execute the marketing content calendar across primary social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Responsibilities: Design consistent, on-brand graphics using Canva for social posts, event flyers, and newsletters.
  • Responsibilities: Write compelling blog posts, student/alumni spotlights, and newsletter copy.
  • Responsibilities: Coordinate with the campus community for interviews and content features.

Requirements

  • Requirements: Must be a currently enrolled University of Florida student (minimum 2.0 GPA)
  • Requirements: Knowledge of social media platforms, primarily Instagram and LinkedIn.
  • Requirements: Knowledge of Canva.
  • Requirements: Knowledge of planning, capturing, and posting digital content.
  • Requirements: Ability to work on-campus at the Norman Gym Building.
  • Requirements: Ability to commit to 10 hours per week for Fall 2026 and Spring 2027.

Preferred

  • Preferred: Ability to produce clear, compelling copy, including feature stories, blog posts, or newsletters.
  • Preferred: Possess an eye for design and detail, with the ability to craft content that maintains a consistent brand voice.
  • Preferred: Experience with social media management, including scheduling tools and engagement tracking.
  • Preferred: Ability to demonstrate critical thinking and organizational skills in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Preferred: An interest in thinking creatively, strategically, and collaboratively to aid in educating the community on the experiences and offerings available to enhance the UF experience.
  • Preferred: Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to connect with others easily.
