Responsibilities

• Film and edit short-form videos (Reels, TikToks, LinkedIn)
• Work directly with the founder to turn ideas into content quickly
• Take raw footage, voice notes, or conversations and turn them into polished, engaging videos
• Experiment with formats, hooks, and styles to improve performance
• Stay on top of trends and adapt them to a startup / founder context
• Help manage posting and optimize for reach and engagement

Requirements

• You’ve already created short-form video content (TikTok, IG, etc.)
• You understand what makes content perform: hooks, retention, pacing, editing, captions
• Strong editing skills (CapCut, Premiere, etc.)
• You can move fast and iterate — not perfectionist, but sharp
• You have taste — your content feels current, not outdated
• Based in Chicago (or can work in-person regularly)

Preferred

• You’ve had videos go viral or understand why things go viral
• You’ve created content for a startup, creator, or brand
• You can take a rough idea and turn it into something people actually want to watch
• You study content — not casually, but intentionally
