Collaborate with strategists, designers, and account managers
Support technical SEO audits and competitive analysis

Responsibilities

Research and write blog posts, articles, guides, and other long-form content for a range of client brands
Write and refresh website pages, including service, product, location, and landing pages
Turn keyword research and briefs into well-structured, readable content that ranks
Pitch content ideas and help plan editorial calendars that attract and convert customers
Update and optimize existing content to improve performance
Write meta titles, meta descriptions, and headers
Adapt tone and voice to each client’s brand and audience
Write ad copy for paid search, paid social, and display campaigns
Write headline and copy variations for testing
Support email, social, and promotional copy as needed

Requirements

2+ years of professional content writing experience (agency experience a plus)
A portfolio with strong long-form samples, such as blog posts, articles, or website content
Experience writing short-form or ad copy
Strong research skills and the ability to write clearly about new or technical topics
Working knowledge of SEO fundamentals: keywords, on-page optimization, and meta tags
Interest in building deeper SEO skills
Excellent grammar, self-editing, and attention to detail
Strong time management and comfort taking feedback
Availability for 20–30 hours per week and the ability to start immediately

Preferred

Experience with SEO tools (Moz, Semrush, Screaming Frog, or similar)
Experience with Google Analytics and Google Search Console
Experience writing for paid search or paid social campaigns
Familiarity with WordPress or other content management systems; basic HTML
Experience writing for cannabis, CBD, or other regulated industries
