Responsibilities

• Analyze how we currently show up in Google and AI-generated results
• Identify which competitors are ranking (and being cited in AI answers)
• Reverse-engineer what they’re doing differently
• Build a clear plan to improve our visibility
• Create and structure content designed to rank (blogs, pages, answer-driven content)
• Deliver ready-to-publish content or strong first drafts (not just recommendations)
• Work with our existing web/SEO team to get things implemented
• Track performance and continuously adjust

Requirements

• Strong experience in SEO, technical SEO, or organic growth
• You know how to analyze rankings and figure out why competitors win
• Experience with structured content, entities, and search intent
• Exposure to AI search / LLMs (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, etc.)
• Able to work with limited data and figure things out
• Comfortable creating content or guiding it directly
• Able to collaborate with an existing web/SEO team (no ego, no turf wars)

Preferred

• Experience in legal, healthcare, or other trust-based industries
• Understanding of what makes content credible and authoritative
