Job Summary

Own AI and SEO optimization for AOA content, ensuring AI outputs and on page structures align with member needs while building a scalable, AI friendly content engine.

  • Monitor LLM interpretations of AOA content and flag gaps to guide corrections and content strategy.
  • Lead semantic content structuring and taxonomy to boost AI recognition, FAQs, and schema across properties.
  • Establish dashboards and playbooks to track AI visibility, search trends, and entity coverage for ongoing prioritization.

Job Description

Own AI and SEO optimization efforts for AOA, aligning AI-generated outputs with member content and search signals while driving content structure, taxonomy, and overall discoverability.

  • Responsibilities: Monitor and analyze how LLMs interpret AOA content and identify inaccuracies to inform corrective strategies.
  • Responsibilities: Optimize content structures including entities, FAQs, citations, and topical authority to improve LLM recognition.
  • Responsibilities: Test prompts to evaluate representation of membership, board certification, CME, and OMED content, and lead SEO for AOA web properties.
  • Responsibilities: Conduct keyword and entity research to inform content planning with a focus on semantic and conversational search.
  • Responsibilities: Perform technical SEO audits to ensure crawlability, indexing, accessibility, and content accuracy.
  • Responsibilities: Manage site taxonomy, tagging frameworks, and structured content models to improve cross-site discoverability.
  • Responsibilities: Enhance content clarity, hierarchy, and alignment with user intent across AOA digital properties.
  • Responsibilities: Recommend improvements to page templates, URL structures, and navigation to support optimized findability.
  • Responsibilities: Track organic search performance using GA4, Search Console, and SEO platforms.
  • Responsibilities: Develop insights dashboards to assess AI visibility, search trends, and entity representation.
  • Requirements: Experience with SEO management tools such as SEMrush, Moz, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console and SiteImprove.
  • Requirements: Experience with Google Analytics 4 and/or enterprise analytics platforms.
  • Requirements: Understanding of LLM behavior and emerging AI search platforms (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude).
  • Requirements: Experience optimizing content for AI/LLM environments, including semantic search strategies.
  • Requirements: Experience with structured data (schema markup), metadata, taxonomy, and digital content architecture.
  • Requirements: Proficiency with CMS platforms (Sitecore, WordPress, or like platforms).
  • Requirements: Strong analytical and communication skills and experience collaborating with content, marketing, and IT/web teams.
  • Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, information science, digital strategy, or a related field.
  • Requirements: 3–5 years of experience in SEO, content optimization, or digital strategy.
  • Nice to Have: Knowledge of healthcare, professional associations, online education / certification programs, and membership content models.
  • Nice to Have: Experience with framing KPIs and reporting for current and emerging platforms.
