Job Summary

Own strategic account leadership in pharma/healthcare, shaping client strategy, growth, and cross functional delivery while mentoring a growing account-team and expanding the business inside existing and new clients.

Job Description

Responsibilities - Lead cross-functional teams to deliver integrated medical communications and marketing solutions that align with client business objectives and timelines. - Guide strategic client relationships and act as a trusted advisor, driving growth opportunities within existing accounts and new business initiatives. - Develop annual strategic plans and guide integrated programs that influence client strategy and business outcomes. - Lead internal account teams, mentorship, coaching, and development of Strategic Account Directors, Strategic Account Managers, and Strategic Account Associates. - Collaborate with internal stakeholders to maximize value for clients and Precision AQ, becoming an indispensable extension of client teams. - Identify opportunities for growth within accounts and ensure programs are delivered on time and within budget. - Participate in pitches and new business initiatives to expand the client portfolio. - Ensure work quality and accountability across teams, maintaining strong client satisfaction and measurable impact. Requirements - Bachelor’s degree required. - Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare marketing, medical affairs, or medical communications agency environments. - Demonstrated success managing and growing pharmaceutical or healthcare accounts with annual revenues exceeding $2.5 million. - Proven experience serving as a strategic and business advisor to senior marketing, commercial, or medical affairs stakeholders. - Strong leadership experience overseeing, mentoring, and developing account management professionals. - Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, forecast revenue, and contribute to business profitability. Preferred - Advanced degree (PhD, MD, PharmD, MBA, or related graduate degree) preferred. - Experience supporting or leading new business development efforts, including pitches and proposal development. - Strong understanding of pharmaceutical and biotech medical communications strategies and commercial planning. - Advanced presentation development and PowerPoint design capabilities.
