Job Description

Own ThredUp's social strategy and channel leadership to drive brand and business results through platform-native storytelling.

  • Lead and evolve social strategy, setting channel roles and platform-native storytelling.
  • Develop a social playbook guiding strategy, tone, and creative direction.
  • Lead influencer and creator programs with agencies and internal teams.
  • Partner with Creative to establish social-first creative guidelines and formats.
  • Own the social content calendar and long-term channel growth plan.
  • Translate campaigns into social-first ideas and identify trends for breakthrough content.
  • Oversee end-to-end creative development for social assets with partners.
  • Provide direction to internal/external teams for high-quality social and influencer work.
  • Integrate influencer and UGC content into the broader social ecosystem.
  • Own channel KPIs and reporting to drive optimization and growth.
  • 6-8+ years in social media with influencer/creator marketing and strong brand growth experience in DTC.
  • Proven ability to develop social-first content strategies that drive channel growth.
  • Deep understanding of social platforms, trends, analytics, and turning insights into action.
  • Experience executing integrated social campaigns with Creative, Growth, Brand, and partners.
  • Strong PM skills to manage multiple workstreams and agency relationships in a fast-paced env.
  • Excellent storytelling and communication with ability to shape brand voice.
  • Analytical mindset with KPI tracking and link to business results for growth.
  • Proactive problem solver fostering cross-team collaboration.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Communications; Master’s preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 4-day work week with Fridays off.
