Responsibilities

• Lead organic growth strategy for clients ranging from B2B SaaS to B2C non-profits.
• Run client calls and own performance outcomes.
• Architect SEO and AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) strategies in complex buying environments.
• Lead strategy from technical foundations to content ideation.
• Help brands win visibility across search engines and answer engines (AI search, featured snippets, LLM surfaces).
• Operate in a client-facing, strategic capacity and build strategic partnerships with marketing executives and founders.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with writers, developers, designers, and analysts to execute on strategies.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience leading SEO and content strategy
• Experience in client-facing project management
• Proficiency using Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Asana, Slack, GSuite
• Experience using some AI search tools
• Strong ability to work with Marketing Managers to C-Suite executives
• Not an entry-level candidate

Preferred

• Background in content writing, editing, copywriting
• Digital strategy background that helps you advise clients beyond SEO/AEO/content
• Prior agency experience
• Experience with B2B SaaS, cybersecurity, fintech, healthtech, or enterprise tech
