Job Description

Responsibilities

  • SEO Strategy Ownership: Own portfolio SEO and GEO/AEO strategy from audits to reporting.
  • Integrated cross-team execution: Partner with content, paid media, and analytics to build compounded strategies.
  • Executive storytelling: Lead client conversations on organic strategy and opportunities at the executive level.
  • Team growth: Help grow DIG's SEO/GEO team and shape how the agency thinks about this discipline going forward.
  • Thought leadership: Contribute to thought leadership and new business efforts as a subject matter expert.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in SEO, with demonstrated experience or strong working knowledge of GEO/AEO
  • Deep familiarity with Google's core algorithm, search quality guidelines, and how generative AI engines rank and surface content
  • Experience with technical SEO, on-page strategy, content optimization, and link authority
  • Comfortable working across a variety of industries and business models
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with tools like Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar
  • Excellent communicator who can translate organic strategy into business impact
  • Agency experience required
