Responsibilities

• Conduct keyword, competitor, and local search research
• Optimize existing website pages for SEO
• Create and optimize service and location/city pages
• Write and/or optimize SEO blog content
• Optimize title tags, meta descriptions, headings, URLs, images, and page copy
• Build and improve internal linking
• Support Google Business Profile optimization and posts
• Review Google Search Console and GA4 data
• Identify indexing, crawlability, and basic technical SEO issues
• Research new organic search opportunities for clients

Requirements

• Hands-on SEO experience with real websites
• Strong understanding of on-page SEO and keyword research
• Experience with local SEO
• Familiarity with Google Search Console and GA4
• Strong writing/editing skills
• Comfortable working in common website platforms such as Squarespace, Wix and/or WordPress
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Excellent attention to detail
• Comfortable learning and adapting as search and AI discovery evolve

Preferred

• Experience with Google Business Profile, schema, technical SEO, Semrush/Ahrefs, and AI/AEO optimization is a plus.
