  • Ownership: Lead in-house PR for US/Canada with agency oversight and cross-functional alignment with marketing and leadership.
  • Measurement: Build a ROI-focused framework tying earned coverage to user acquisition, activation, and sentiment signals.
  • Channels and audience: Shift to digital-first tactics, social-led PR, influencers, podcasts, and tech/business outlets to reach growth audiences.
  • Collaboration: Align with Global HQ and cross-functional US/Canada leadership to position PR as a core pillar of the marketing mix.
  • Media relationships: Maintain high-level relationships with top-tier outlets across business, tech, and consumer press.
  • Pitching engine: Lead the in-house pitching for priority announcements and oversee agency-led media outreach.
  • Measurement framework: Establish sophisticated metrics beyond impressions to prove PR impact on growth and brand health.
  • Data-driven pivots: Use insights to adjust strategies in real time and justify PR spend with ROI reporting.
  • Agency management: Supervise regional PR agencies to ensure they act as an extension of the in-house team.
  • Global integration: Work with Global HQ to ensure PR supports the broader marketing strategy across markets.
