Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Leads cross-functional forums that deliver customer-centric, multi-channel marketing strategies to maximize customer growth, retention and engagement.
  • Identifies and communicates key performance indicators tied to process optimization and improved speed-to-market.
  • Leans into agile methodology to effectively manage marketing programs that support product goals.
  • Adapts ways of working and processes to address prioritization, resource and operational challenges.
  • Drives adoption of the project management tool, Workfront, across the team to effectively manage and progress marketing projects.
  • Ensures agile operating model supports alternative marketing channels such as tradeshows and other banker initiatives.
  • Includes the necessary internal partners in appropriate forums to ensure that marketing programs are in accordance with all laws, regulations and bank policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
  • 10 or more years of related experience in marketing and marketing strategy with proven ability to deliver results
  • Advanced knowledge of assigned geographical area, competitive market, banking operations, and U.S. Bancorp's products and services
  • Demonstrated experience serving as a liaison between cross-functional partners to bring campaigns to market
  • Strong project management experience, including the ability to lead recurring team meetings, planning discussions, project reviews and follow-up conversations that keep work moving forward
  • Proven ability to manage intake, prioritization and backlog maintenance processes to ensure work is assigned and advanced effectively
  • Ability to develop and maintain planning materials, calendars, milestone communications and feedback loops that support continuous improvement
  • Experience using Workfront or a similar work management tool to support workflow implementation, adoption and process improvements
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal and team building skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills

  • MBA or equivalent markers of high achievement are a plus
