Job Summary

Own the end-to-end live-show marketing engine, balancing budget, media partnerships, digital plans, and market-by-market optimization to drive ticket sales and audience reach.

  • Campaign ownership: plan and execute show marketing with long-term initiatives and risk management.
  • Budget & media: allocate funds across partners, manage settlements, and optimize spend with digital channels.
  • Cross-functional execution: align with tour, talent buyers, central media, CRM, and agencies to drive targeted activations and partnerships.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Growth Infrastructure: Develop and execute marketing plans for shows and long-term initiatives, and manage issues and risks affecting campaigns.
  • Budget & Media: Generate marketing budget, book and account for advertising and media ensuring funds are allocated to correct partners; manage advertising settlements for each show.
  • Collaboration & Digital: Plan marketing spend with national tour director, talent buyers, and regional marketing director; work with central digital media buying, partnerships, CRM and creative teams for targeted audiences, custom creative and partnership activations.
  • Performance & Optimization: Oversee show performance market-by-market and adjust to changing conditions; develop digital advertising plans to optimize campaigns for ticket sales.
  • Publicity & Promotions: Oversee publicity, advance press interviews, and manage artist availability for promotions with management, label and PR agencies.
  • Partnerships & Agencies: Collaborate with agencies and vendor partners like Ticketmaster and AXS on opportunities, product development, and improving efficiencies.

Requirements

  • BA/BS Degree (4-year) Advanced Degree Preferred in Marketing/Business Communications or related field
  • 6-8 years Of related work experience
  • Experience with media buying, executing digital media plans and omni-channel digital marketing
  • Experience working with email, mobile and digital marketing programs
  • Experience sourcing and managing content development and publishing
  • Experience and knowledge of music industry
  • Strong knowledge of data analysis and budgeting
  • Strong knowledge of programmatic media and real time bidding
  • Strong knowledge of social media and online marketing initiatives and strategies
  • Displays in-depth knowledge of Social Media platforms and how each can be deployed in different scenarios
  • Computer savvy with MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Google AdWords, Rubicon, CMS, Photoshop, WordPress
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn required business systems
  • Strong proficiency in content marketing theory and application
  • Detail oriented with ability to multitask and manage multiple campaigns
  • Executes creativity and immersion in Social Media
  • Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills
  • Ability to supervise and lead a productive team
  • Ability to switch from creative to analytical side and prove ideas are analytically sound
