Job Description
- Executive Communications: Develop speeches, talking points, bylined articles and presentations for the c-suite.
- Executive Social Strategy: Lead executive social media strategy — identifying trends, building thought leadership positioning, and managing day-to-day presence across platforms.
- Messaging Frameworks: Design messaging frameworks for different audiences and channels.
- Media Readiness: Prepare executives for high-stakes media interviews and speaking engagements.
- AI-Driven Efficiency: Use AI and technology to sharpen your work and move faster.
- Story Mining: Be the story miner — digging into Covista's operations to surface narratives worth telling.
- Journalist Relationships: Build and maintain relationships with journalists covering higher education, healthcare and business.
- Press Materials & Pitches: Pitch stories, coordinate media interviews, and develop the press materials (releases, bylines, pitch frameworks) that drive executive visibility.
- News Cycle Vigilance: Stay ahead of news cycles to find the right moment for the right story.
