Summary of Responsibilities:

The Senior Manager, Community Relations will lead and coordinate community relations activities in support of the Hudson Tunnel Project on behalf of the Delivery Partner/Consultant team, working closely with and reporting to the client organization. The role is responsible for supporting the planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of community engagement strategies and stakeholder interface activities associated with a large, complex, high-profile transportation infrastructure program.

The postholder will act as a senior advisor and delivery lead for community relations matters, helping to ensure that project information is communicated clearly, community concerns are managed effectively, and stakeholder commitments are tracked and addressed in a timely and professional manner. The role requires close coordination with the client organization, project leadership, technical teams, contractors, public agencies, and affected communities to support transparent project delivery and minimize adverse community impacts. 

Key Responsibilities 

Community Relations Leadership

• Lead the development and implementation of community relations strategies, plans, and protocols in alignment with the Client Organization’s objectives, policies, and stakeholder commitments.
• Provide subject matter expertise to the Client Organization on community relations approaches for major infrastructure delivery in dense urban environments.
• Support the Client Organization in maintaining effective, transparent, and responsive engagement with affected communities throughout planning, design, construction, and delivery phases.
