Job Description
We are looking for a Senior/Lead Growth Product Analyst to help drive product and growth decisions through deep analytical thinking, experimentation, and data storytelling.
This is not a generic data analyst role. We are specifically looking for someone with strong experience in product and growth analytics — someone who understands funnels, retention, monetization, experimentation, and how to translate product data into actionable business decisions.
The role will initially require full-time involvement during the first 30–60 days to help establish strong analytics foundations across the company. After the initial setup phase, the role is expected to transition into a steady-state workload of approximately 20–25 hours per week.
You will work closely with leadership, product, and engineering teams to improve experimentation quality, analytics infrastructure, and KPI visibility across the business.
What you’ll doInitial 30–60 Days- Audit and improve current product analytics infrastructure
- Define and standardize event taxonomy and tracking systems
- Build and refine dashboards for product and growth metrics
- Reanalyze historical experiments and identify missed insights
- Improve data standards and reporting consistency across teams
- Partner closely with Product and Engineering on instrumentation quality
- Deliver 2–4 experiment/test readouts per month
- Conduct weekly KPI and growth metric reviews
- Analyze funnels, retention, engagement, and monetization trends
- Support paywall and conversion optimization initiatives
- Answer ad hoc product and growth questions from leadership
- Coach and support junior analytics talent internally
- Help teams make faster and better product decisions through data
- Has 6–9 years of experience in product analytics or growth analytics
- Strong expertise in SQL and querying large datasets
- Experience with BigQuery, Google Analytics (GA4), or similar analytics platforms
- Deep understanding of:
- Product funnels
- Retention analysis
- Monetization metrics
- Experimentation frameworks
- A/B testing and statistical significance
- KPI design and measurement
- Experience designing analytics events and tracking product behavior
- Comfortable communicating insights directly with leadership and product teams
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Able to operate independently in fast-paced startup environments
- Experience in high-growth consumer apps or subscription businesses
- Experience working on paywall optimization and monetization experiments
- Familiarity with AI tools and AI-assisted workflows to improve productivity
- Experience mentoring or coaching junior analysts
