Job Description
IVIRMA is seeking a highly skilled, execution-focused Senior Global Content & Communications Specialist to help shape how our newly formed global organization communicates internally and externally.
This is a high-visibility, high-impact role at a pivotal moment in our evolution. Every communication produced in this role will either reach all employees across our global network or represent IVIRMA externally to the broader healthcare community.
The successful candidate will be an exceptional writer with strong editorial judgment, a global mindset, and the ability to translate complex information into clear, compelling content. This role requires maturity, discretion, and a collaborative approach, as it works closely with regional communications teams across 15 countries to ensure alignment, consistency, and cultural nuance.
This position is execution-driven and hands-on. It is ideal for a communications professional who values craft, influence, and impact over hierarchy or title progression.
Essential Functions and Accountabilities:
Internal Communications
- Draft and produce global email newsletters and organizational announcements (with external design support)
- Support the production of global townhalls
- Support leadership messaging to employees across regions
- Ensure tone, clarity, and consistency in communications reaching a global workforce
- Contribute to initiatives supporting IVIRMA’s evolving culture, positioning, and shared identity
Global LinkedIn Account
- Support content strategy and editorial planning for IVIRMA’s global LinkedIn presence
- Produce compelling posts that reflect IVIRMA’s voice, clinical leadership, and strategic priorities (with external design support)
- Partner with regional teams to source and elevate content
- Manage publishing cadence and monitor performance in collaboration with leadership
- Ensure alignment between global messaging and regional narratives
Global Website
- Support content strategy and planning for IVIRMA’s global website
- Draft and edit website copy to ensure clarity, consistency, and brand alignment
- Create and update content in partnership with external design support
- Manage ongoing site content updates and governance
- Ensure messaging reflects IVIRMA’s positioning as the world’s largest fertility group
Cross-Regional Collaboration
- Work closely with communications and marketing colleagues across North America, Iberia, Northern Europe, and Italy
- Ensure global consistency while respecting local market context
- Contribute to alignment across regions during key announcements and initiatives
- Operate with a team-first mindset, prioritizing collective success over individual visibility
Impact & Scope
This role touches every employee and external stakeholder who engages with IVIRMA’s global voice. It plays a critical role in:
- Shaping the culture of a newly formed global organization
- Supporting the evolution of IVIRMA’s brand and positioning
- Elevating clarity and consistency across markets
- Reinforcing trust with both internal and external audiences
While this role does not manage vendors or set enterprise-wide communications strategy, it requires strong independent judgment, discretion, and the ability to execute at a high level with minimal oversight.
Location & Travel
- Primarily remote, but must be East Coast time zone
- Northeast U.S. preferred (NJ, NY, MA)
- Occasional travel to clinics across the US and limited travel to Europe as needed
Languages:
- Fluent in English and Spanish required
- Italian a plus
Position Requirements/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field
- 6–10 years of experience in corporate communications, content, or internal communications roles
- Experience in healthcare or regulated industries preferred
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with strong executive presence
- Experience managing corporate LinkedIn and website content
- Proven ability to work effectively in matrixed, cross-cultural environments
- High emotional intelligence and collaborative mindset
