Job Summary

Own NA regional strategy and lead a 10-person marketing and comms team to drive rail-focused initiatives, align with global priorities, and partner with Siemens USA on reputation and stakeholder engagement.

Job Description

  • Shape and execute a cohesive regional marketing and communications strategy for North America, fully aligned with global priorities and business objectives, acting as a trusted strategic partner to Siemens Mobility North America leadership to drive business impact, sales initiatives, and execution focus
  • Build, lead, and motivate a regional team of around 10 communications and marketing professionals supporting the Rail business, while personally steering complex, high-profile initiatives such as major customer events, executive forums, manufacturing site openings, and flagship international trade fairs (e.g. APTA, InnoTrans)
  • Design, deliver, and evaluate integrated, customer- and sales-driven marketing communications campaigns for rail products and projects, leveraging AI-enabled content creation, data-driven audience targeting, digital channels, and performance analytics in close partnership with Sales and Business Development
  • Take end-to-end ownership of key customer-facing and digital touchpoints, continuously enhancing relevance and performance across websites, social media, executive profiling, newsletters, product launches, customer events, and industry exhibitions
  • Lead communications for high-visibility rail programs and manufacturing sites, supporting transformation and change initiatives as well as operational milestones across internal, external, customer, community, and political stakeholder groups
  • Define clear success metrics and apply data and analytics to assess impact, optimize activities, and continuously improve the overall effectiveness of marketing and communications
  • Partner closely with Siemens USA on reputation and brand positioning, including coordination on political topics and strategic stakeholder engagement
