Position Summary

Vitro is looking for a senior-level copywriter. If you’re a quick learner with a passion for writing, storytelling, and social media, we want to hear from you! Please note that this is a full-time, hybrid-remote position based in San Diego and requires a minimum of three in-office days each week.

What We're Looking For

• A skilled copywriter who is equally adept at witty headlines and longer, more nuanced copy
• A creator who knows how to integrate messaging on social media and in 360-degree campaigns
• A curious person who enjoys learning new concepts and can adapt their writing style to suit a wide range of brands and audiences
• A team player who can build relationships across the agency and with clients

Responsibilities

• Work with an art director to concept and develop big brand ideas and creative executions
• Write headlines, scripts, and copy for social/digital and traditional media
• Hone your work as directed, effectively incorporating feedback from CDs and clients
• Present your ideas internally and to the client

Requirements

• At least 4-6 years of copywriting experience
• A portfolio that displays your writing and conceptual skills across a variety of categories
• Social media fluency and strong examples social-first work
• Not mandatory, but Spanish fluency is a nice-to-have
