Responsibilities
- Content Creation & Storytelling
- Develop original concepts for Instagram, TikTok, launches, campaigns and everyday brand storytelling.
- Film, photograph and edit short-form video and photo content.
- Create content tailored to each platform, from polished campaigns to spontaneous, personality-driven social content.
- Capture the people, products, customization process and New York energy behind Abbode.
- Be comfortable appearing in content when the concept calls for it.
- Creative Production
- Plan and lead recurring shoots, including concepts, mood boards, locations, talent, props and shot lists.
- Work closely with photographers, creators and other creative partners.
- Turn creative direction into an organized content plan aligned with launches and seasonal moments.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant content experience with a fashion, beauty, lifestyle, accessories or consumer brand.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating visual storytelling and excellent short-form video work.
- Strong skills in creative concept development, filming, photography and editing.
- An understanding of what makes content feel native to Instagram and TikTok.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut or other photo and video editing tools.
- NYC-based and comfortable working primarily in person.
