Job Description

Requirements

  • Strong general Communication skills, including the ability to adapt messaging to diverse audiences and channels.
  • Experience with Press Releases and media relations, including drafting announcements and coordinating with journalists or media outlets.
  • Background in Strategic Communications, with the ability to plan, implement, and assess communication campaigns that support organizational goals.
  • Advanced Writing and editing skills for digital and print content, with attention to clarity, accuracy, and tone.
  • Experience in Internal Communications, including employee updates, leadership messaging, and cross-team information sharing.
  • Proven ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Environmental Studies, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated commitment to equity, inclusion, and respectful collaboration in a mission-driven environment.

Preferred

  • Familiarity with nonprofit or environmental sectors, sustainability, or climate-related initiatives is highly beneficial.
