As a Senior Communications Specialist, you'll help bring store experience initiatives to life through clear, engaging communications that keep teams informed and aligned. You'll partner with cross-functional teams, vendors, field associates, and leaders to translate complex information into actionable messages tailored to a variety of audiences. You'll also manage key content resources and communication channels that drive engagement, knowledge sharing, and operational consistency. If you enjoy storytelling, simplifying complex topics, and making a measurable impact on how information is shared across a large organization, this role is for you.
This role is hybrid, which means you will be required to work on site Monday through Thursday at the Best Buy corporate office in Richfield, Minnesota. You can work virtually from home or another non‑Best Buy location on Friday. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process.
What you’ll do

• Develop and execute communications for Store Experience Projects.
• Create and tailor stakeholder communications to multiple audiences.
• Serve as a cross-functional communication liaison.
• Manage knowledge resources and content governance.
• Drive communication effectiveness and organizational readiness.

Basic qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in internal communications, communication strategy, change communications, or a related field.

• 2+ years experience supporting operational, project, or retail-based initiatives.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• 2+ years experience creating and managing digital content and documentation.
• Intermediate PowerPoint and Word skills, basic Excel skills.

Preferred qualifications

• 2+ years of experience supporting large-scale retail deployments, remodels, or store initiatives.
• 3+ years of experience developing multimedia content, including instructional videos.
• 3+ years of experience managing knowledge management platforms or intranet sites.
• 1+ years of experience with knowledge in Service Now.
• 1+ years of experience translating technical information into clear, user-friendly content.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Communications or related field.
