Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Manages communications and creative projects, ensuring alignment with goals, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Produces high‑quality visual and written content using Adobe Creative Cloud; contributes to brand‑aligned storytelling across platforms.
  • Communicates assignments, schedules, and expectations clearly to internal and external teams.
  • Seeks assistance on unusual problems and participates in work review to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Measures campaign performance, evaluates analytics, and uses insights to drive results.
  • Leads small to moderate tasks and assignments; assists in mentoring new team members.
  • Begins developing knowledge and skills in community and economic development to support broader organizational initiatives.
  • Manages workload to meet commitments, fosters a positive team environment, and demonstrates strong self‑awareness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, English, or related field.
  • Exceptional Adobe Creative Cloud and graphic design skills.
  • Exceptional ability to communicate assignments and schedules to internal and external teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to measure campaigns, evaluate analytics, and drive results.
  • Achievement‑oriented, self‑aware, and committed to creating a positive environment for coworkers.
  • Ability to manage workload to ensure commitments are delivered on time.
  • Physical Qualifications: Primary functions require physical ability and sufficient mobility to work in an office setting.
  • Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time.
  • Occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist.
  • Occasionally lift, carry, push, and pull light to moderate amounts of weight.

Preferred

  • Experience mentoring or onboarding new team members
  • Familiarity with community and economic development concepts
