Responsibilities

• Lead the coordination of marketing, branding, and promotional efforts for programs, rentals, and events
• Maintain and update assigned web pages with timely, accurate, and engaging content
• Manage content publication and collaborate with the Public Information team for review when needed.
• Manage event promotion on game days, including coordinating press box coverage, live event updates, and social media engagement.
• Collaborate with teams to gather and input information into statistical software for real-time content updates on websites and social media platforms, including Web Stream scheduling.
• Oversee the creation, management, and distribution of reports
• Develop, schedule, and implement marketing strategies for programs
• Participate in interviews and hiring processes
• Interpret and communicate departmental policies and procedures to staff, the public, and online audiences, ensuring clarity and consistency in messaging.
• Respond to inquiries via calls, emails, and social media platforms, addressing questions, complaints, and providing consistent, on-brand information.

Requirements

• Education and Experience Requires a combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, Sport Management, Graphic Design, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in social media management/marketing.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed to assist with events.
• Requires drug testing and background check (which may include criminal history check, SBI fingerprinting, motor vehicle records check, education verification and credit history review) and satisfactory reference checks prior to employment.
• Ability to supervise personnel and manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to work independently on confidential and responsible assignments.
• Knowledge of departmental policies and procedures, with the ability to interpret and enforce them.

Preferred

• Some experience in sports marketing
• Some experience in graphic design/website design.
