Job Description
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist in managing New York Jet’s photo archive and backup systems for internal photo team, freelancers - meticulously editing, tagging, captioning, & cataloging with excellent attention to detail and organization.
- Assist in implementing and expanding AI systems for delivery of digital assets such as video, photo, and social campaigns to players and organization
- Real- time photo editing and support for all Jets home games and off- season tentpole events with the possibility of travel
- Tagging, editing, and uploading images to organization’s digital archival programs
- Assist with execution and delivery of internal and external photo requests
- Assist in ideation, planning, and execution of studio photography shoots for multiple NFL Media Day sets, signings, Jets Rewards shoots, staff headshots etc.
- Assist Marketing, Social, Ticket Sales, Creative, and Production teams in creating photo assets to promote upcoming projects, series, and campaigns
- Assist with covering off- season workouts, OTAs, camps & in- season practices
- Assist in creating on-field, studio, and in- stadium content to promote team and league tentpole events, promotions, community outreach programs, and game themes
- Photography support for community, staff, and stadium events
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
- Ability to prioritize and work in fast-paced environment
- Proficient with photo editing in real- time
- Positive, self-starter who can work well with others and independently
- Strong photography skills with an eye for creativity
- Working knowledge of DSLR or mirrorless camera systems, specifically Canon
- Ability to handle physical requirements of the job including setting up equipment for events, etc. with medium to heavy lifting
- Ability to interact with players, staff and community in a professional manner
- Proven experience to appropriately work with and around confidential information is necessary
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work flexible hours including Jets events and Jets Gamedays
Reporting Relationship: Senior Manager of Photography + Digital Archival Services
The salary range for this role: USD $18.00 - $20.00 per hour, depending on the specific qualifications of the successful candidate. Company benefit programs for seasonal employees include: robust medical, dental and vision insurance, 401k plan participation (after 1000 hours + one year of service) with company-match; PTO, sick time.
