Responsibilities

• Promote, sell and inform of Boar’s Head Brand premium delicatessen products by engaging consumers through product sampling.
• Actively promote by educating consumers on flavor, nutritional information, and complimentary products.
• Must have excellent time management skills, be organized, friendly, and like to sell.
• Must be able to work independently and in a team environment.
• Must be dependable, and motivated.
• Complete additional activities or special projects as assigned

Requirements

• Must be engaging with customers and possess good communication and customer service skills.
• Experience in sales and product promotions.
• Experience in Food (deli, food preparation & slicing machine) and Merchandising.
• Must have an outgoing, courteous and positive attitude.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic computer skills
• Keep work area neat and clean; exhibit good food safety and sanitation practices at all times
• Ability to operate a slicer (will provide training)
• Must have own transportation and be willing to travel to different retail locations within assigned area throughout Savannah, Bluffton, Beaufort and Hilton Head.
• Ability to transport and set up a folding table, utensils, platters, etc.
