The Food & Beverage Runner supports restaurant and banquet service by ensuring timely, accurate, and professional delivery of food from the kitchen to guests. This role plays a key part in maintaining service flow, presentation standards, and guest satisfaction in a fast-paced, high-volume hotel environment.
Key Responsibilities

• Deliver food orders from the kitchen to dining areas, and service stations quickly and accurately.
• Ensure food is presented according to Hyatt standards, including proper garnishing, plate cleanliness, and temperature control.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, servers, and supervisors regarding order status and special requests.
• Assist in setting up and breaking down service stations, buffets, and banquet areas as needed.
• Support servers by replenishing bread, condiments, water, and service items during service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas.
• Handle food with care and follow all safety and sanitation standards.
• Respond courteously to guest requests and escalate concerns to supervisors when appropriate.
• Follow Hyatt brand service standards, grooming guidelines, and safety procedures.
  

This is an hourly position with a compensation of $25.60 per hour.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand, walk, and carry trays or equipment for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry up to moderate weight.
• Flexible availability including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  

Preferred

• Previous restaurant, banquet, or hotel food & beverage experience.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Basic English communication skills; bilingual skills a plus.
• Experience in a high-volume or convention hotel environment.
