Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Support recruitment campaigns for police officers, special constables, volunteers and staff roles, helping to promote Kent Police as an employer of choice.
  • Create compelling content and marketing materials across a range of channels, including digital, social media and print.
  • Support the planning and delivery of multi-channel marketing campaigns, monitor performance and provide insight to help improve results.
  • The role also includes supporting engagement and outreach activity where required.
  • Working closely with colleagues across the force and external partners, you will help deliver campaigns and events that strengthen Kent Police's reputation, support workforce priorities and encourage greater engagement with our communities.

Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong copywriting, digital content creation and storytelling skills.
  • Experience of supporting marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Experience of using social media and digital platforms for promotional activity.
  • Ability to analyse campaign performance and use data to improve outcomes.
  • Experience of building effective relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Customer-focused approach and strong attention to detail.

  • Experience of recruitment marketing.
  • Experience of working in the public sector.
  • Experience of engagement, outreach or community-focused campaigns.
  • Experience of working with external agencies and suppliers.
  • Relevant qualification in marketing, communications or a related subject.
