Job Description
This position focuses on creating content by capturing community engagement within Apex Park and Recreation District and assists in special events. An average week is about 15 hours, which could be after school, evenings or during the weekend.

- Collaborate with Marketing to promote programs, events, and initiatives using emerging social media trends in digital content.
- Support event logistics, maintain event materials and participate in venue setup.
- Create engaging digital content for social media platforms including photos, reels, graphics, and written posts.
- Must be at least 16 years old.
- No previous experience required; on-the-job training will be provided.
- Must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to various locations on time.
- Effective communication and people skills.
- Ability to work late afternoons, evenings and weekends.
- No specific education requirements.
- Experience with creating engaging content preferred.
- Work may take place in both indoor and outdoor environments, with exposure to varying weather conditions including sun, heat, cold, snow, and humidity.
- Noise levels range from moderate to loud, often due to active children, group interactions, or busy transportation settings.
- Work may occur in environments with poor acoustics, distractions, or high activity levels.
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, or sit on the floor as needed during activities or tasks.
- Able to monitor participants, ensure safety, and respond to signals or emergencies.
- Ability to react quickly and appropriately to the physical needs or emergencies of children or participants.
- Able to communicate effectively, including speaking loudly, when necessary, in noisy or outdoor environments.
