Paid Internship Opportunity: Summer 2026

Victoria King Public Relations is a Santa Monica-based boutique PR agency specializing in luxury hospitality, representing hotels and resorts worldwide. The agency is actively seeking a part-time paid intern for Summer 2026.

Candidates will gain valuable knowledge in the areas of public relations, communications, hospitality, and travel, and will learn about the inner workings of a public relations agency. 

Requirements:

·                 Current college student pursuing a public relations-related major, or a recent graduate with a public relations/communications degree 

·                 Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite 

·                 Strong written and verbal communication skills 

·                 Strong desire to learn

·                 Ability to work well in a team environment

·                 Strong time-management skills

·                 Bonus for knowledge of media databases like Muck Rack and TravMedia, but not required  

Intern Responsibilities:

·                 Monitor online and print coverage and assist with press clippings

·                 Create and organize templates for reporting 

·                 Build, update and maintain media lists using media databases 

·                 Monitor media awards and assist with client submissions

·                 Draft pitches and press releases as needed 

·                 Support account executives and account coordinator with client projects, travel industry trend research and social media efforts 

·                 Day-to-day administrative tasks  

This is an in-person role, reporting to the Santa Monica office 2-3 days a week, reaching between 12-20 hours a week.
