Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Promote and coordinate regional trainings and provide technical assistance in hosting trainings.
  • Create media campaigns and promote education prevention messages through media outlets and/or social media.
  • Establish and maintain Community Agreements with media outlets and community stakeholders that facilitate the implementation of Media Awareness Activities.
  • Conduct educational presentations relevant to data products and prevention messages to stakeholders throughout Region 11.
  • Network utilizing diverse communication formats (in-person, email, mail, social networks).
  • Extend invitations on a monthly basis to community organizations to participate in data driven efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business, Public Relations or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of participants/professionals in English and Spanish.
  • Current TX driver’s license with current liability insurance
