Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Independently plans, drafts, and posts engaging content on CBP's official social media accounts, ensuring alignment with agency messaging.
  • The specialist also conducts in-depth social media listening and analysis, providing data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions and improve CBP's social media approach.
  • Typically duties include but not limited to: Independently planning, drafting, and publishing engaging content across official social media platforms to ensure alignment with agency messaging and enhance public understanding of CBP's mission, policies, and initiatives.
  • Creating, producing, and editing high-quality digital content, including text, photography, video, and graphic design, while maintaining strict adherence to CBP brand guidelines.
  • Conducting daily social media listening and data analysis to identify emerging trends, measure the effectiveness of outreach campaigns, and provide data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions.
  • Collaborating with internal partners to address misinformation, manage potential issues, and present recommendations to management for strategic improvements to CBP's digital communication approach.

Requirements

  • You must be a U.S. Citizen to apply for this position
  • Males born after 12/31/1959 must be registered with Selective Service
