Job Summary

Support frontline event coordination and public engagement for a municipal Parks & Recreation department, welding operations, sponsorship activity, on-site promotions, and strong customer service across diverse community settings.

Responsibilities: Plan and execute information tables, distribute promotional materials, and assist with event operations.
Responsibilities: Maintain and secure sponsorships, coordinate with staff, volunteers, vendors, and attendees to ensure smooth events.

Job Description

Responsibilities: Sets up and maintains information tables at third-party outreach events (such as Third Thursdays, Farmer’s Market, career fairs, etc.).
Responsibilities: Assists with maintaining current sponsorships and securing new sponsors for all Parks & Recreation events and programming.
Responsibilities: Delivers flyers and posters promoting Summerville Parks & Recreation events and programs to different public spaces for promotional purposes.
Responsibilities: Assists with operating Parks & Recreation events as needed.
Responsibilities: Interacts and communicates with various groups and individuals (such as Parks & Recreation staff, volunteers, vendors, business owners, and the general public).
Responsibilities: Provides excellent customer service while maintaining a professional demeanor.
Responsibilities: Performs other related duties as required.
