Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Daily Operations: Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, tenant relations, and maintenance coordination.
  • Leasing & Marketing: Oversee property leasing processes, including marketing vacancies, conducting property tours, and negotiating lease agreements.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to Fair Housing regulations, Section 8 guidelines, and other local, state, and federal legal requirements.
  • Administration & Reporting: Utilize property management software to maintain accurate data entry, filing systems, invoicing, and performance reporting.
  • Legal & Contractual Duties: Handle administrative tasks related to landlord-tenant law, contracts, and lease documentation.
  • Facilities Management: Coordinate property maintenance and facility management activities to ensure the optimal, safe condition of the properties.
  • Tenant Relations: Resolve tenant conflicts promptly and confidently through effective conflict management strategies, all while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
  • Team Support: Perform additional administrative or operational duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of proven background in property management, leasing, facilities management, and maintenance coordination required. High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Language Requirement: Fluency in Spanish and English (written and verbal) is strictly required to effectively communicate with our tenant base and vendors.
  • Software Proficiency: Strong experience with property management software, specifically AMSI, alongside accurate data entry skills.
  • Legal Knowledge: Solid understanding of landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations, and legal administrative procedures.
  • Negotiation & Sales: Excellent negotiation skills for securing lease agreements, contract reviews, and identifying upselling opportunities.
  • Communication: Exceptional customer service skills coupled with professional phone etiquette and relationship management abilities.
  • Problem Solving: Effective conflict resolution skills to successfully manage tenant disputes or operational issues.
