Job Description

We are seeking a Project Manager to join our PMO team. In this role, you will take on a larger leadership position in managing project timelines, budgets, and workflows, ensuring seamless collaboration across departments. You will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive successful project execution, proactively identify risks, and successful project delivery.

To succeed in this role, you should have strong organizational and communication skills, a proactive problem-solving mindset, and the ability to balance multiple priorities while keeping projects on track. You thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and enjoy bringing structure to complex initiatives.

This role will be based in our New York office and report to the Senior Project Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and maintain project tracking documents, including hotsheets, timelines, estimates, and status reports.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of projects from kickoff to delivery, ensuring milestones are met on time and within budget.
  • Proactively assess risks and implement mitigation plans, escalating issues as needed.
  • Drive team alignment by coordinating cross-functional meetings, tracking action items, and ensuring accountability across stakeholders.
  • Work closely with internal teams to clarify project scope, set expectations, and provide regular status updates.
  • Ensure quality control processes are followed for all deliverables, appropriate to project complexity and risk.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 3+ years of experience in project management within an agency or similar fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships with internal teams and clients.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Problem-solving mindset, able to anticipate challenges and develop creative solutions.
  • Comfortable working independently, while also collaborating effectively across teams.
  • Experience with project management tools (Smartsheet, Workfront) is a plus.
