Responsibilities

• Draft, edit, and manage approvals for press releases, op-eds, talking points, and related materials.
• Support earned media and public relations efforts across multiple programs and initiatives.
• Ensure consistency in tone, message, accuracy, and style across deliverables.
• Monitor trends and identify opportunities to expand media reach.
• Help improve content creation workflows and communications reporting.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including communications, marketing, web, and social media.
• Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 2+ years of experience in journalism, communications, public relations, or related work.
• Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and Asana.

Preferred

• Experience in the clean energy sector.
• Experience supporting public sector or mission-driven communications.
• Strong media relations and story development background.
