Job Summary

Own financial operations and end-to-end project governance, turning spend, forecasts, and invoicing into a tightly run engine.

  • Financial operations ownership: lead PO, invoicing, and real-time spend tracking with strong process discipline.
  • Cross-functional liaison: align project planning with finance and ensure timely invoicing across partners.
  • Process optimization: implement efficiency and compliance improvements across workflows and trackers.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary lead for financial operations and business process workflows.
  • Manage and streamline the end-to-end purchase order (PO) lifecycle and invoicing schedules.
  • Maintain meticulous trackers, ensuring real-time visibility into project spend versus forecasts.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to drive operational efficiency and financial compliance.
  • Schedule meetings and presentations with partners and ensure all logistics are covered. Prepare and distribute clear agendas and capture key takeaways from meetings. Support projects from kickoff to completion, keeping timeline on track.
  • Be the link between internal projects and financial operations, guiding work from initial planning through to final invoicing.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in project management
  • 1-2 years of experience in the energy sector (regulatory or commercial)
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with experience managing databases and executing on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex strategic and operational initiatives
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with external partners
  • Ability to work across global time zones and drive teams to work toward priority objectives
  • Ability to self-start and self-direct work in an unstructured environment
