Program Associate, Professional Development
About The One Club
The One Club for Creativity is a global nonprofit organization that champions creative excellence in advertising and design. Through prestigious awards, professional development programs, and industry-leading events, we celebrate and elevate the world’s best creative talent.
As a contributor to the Professional Development team, the ideal candidate will help create learning programs and events, both online and in-person. The Program Associate, Professional Development will support the team’s divisions, including ONE Creator Lab (The Lab), Learning Programs and Creative Development (Creative Development).
ONE Creator Lab responsibilities, to start, include:
- Manage the schedules and calendars of all cohorts and programming
- Coordinate the curriculum and class materials through a LMS along with documents
- Manage class sessions two nights a week in the evenings
- Communicate with Creators & Partners to answer their questions and resolve issues
- Manage graduation events
- Learn to run the day to day operations of the cohorts
Requirements
- A minimum of 1-3 years of relevant administrative or project management experience
- A minimum of 1-3 years of academic recruitment / placement experience
- Proficient in setting up and managing Zoom Sessions and Webinars
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Proficient in the use of Google suite & Excel
- Proficiency with Asana is a plus
- LMS knowledge and or experience with Fonteva is a plus
- A passion for education and creating opportunities for a diverse range of talent
- Outstanding organizational and time-management skills
- Strong written/oral communication skills
- A sharp eye for detail
- Strategic problem solving skills
- Self starter and problem solving skills
- Able to work from our Manhattan New York office 2 days a week
- Able to manage classes two evenings a week - Tuesdays and Thursdays
Opportunities for growth
We aim for the Program Associate to grow in tandem with the division, assisting in unifying and streamlining processes, internally and externally, for all initiatives and offerings. This is an opportunity to shape the future direction of The One Club Professional Development team, as well as the creative industry, ensuring it remains reflective of the Creator community at large and in alignment with our mission. The Program Associate will be encouraged to collect and implement feedback from students, participants, partners, sponsors and internal stakeholders to further establish One Club as the industry standard for professional development.
As the role progresses you will be trained to do:
For Professional Development
- Assist on projects, including conducting research, gathering data
- Track project timelines and deadlines, ensuring clear communication and alignment
- Organize and maintain digital files, and prepare reports and presentations as needed
- Perform data entry and track metrics across various department initiatives
- Assist with program organization (schedules, docs, trackers)
- Support execution (creative boot camps, WAATBP logistics, bespoke programs)
- Communicate with participants, mentors, and speakers
For ONE Creator Lab
- Run the day-to-day operations of the cohorts
- Maintain the ONE Creator Lab website to keep crucial information current
- Lead the application and enrollment process
- Meet with the Marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns
- Collaborate with partners and overall industry for graduate placement
- Develop creative industry network for recruiting instructors and other partners
- Work closely with the heads of The Lab to lead the strategic execution of the program
The Program Associate will initially support the following:
- ONE Creator Lab - Creative Boot Camps
- Where Are All The Black People - Brand-Side Leaders Retreat Conferences
- Executive Creative Summits - Creative Leaders Retreat Conferences
- Workshop & Learning Labs
Compensation
For this position, The One Club is prepared to offer the ideal candidate a salaried, full-time position at $70,000. This compensation is offered in good faith, and may be subject to change, dependent upon factors such as years of experience or quality of experience.
Work Environment
This is a hybrid position that requires all staff to be present at our New York headquarters in Hudson Yards on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and administer classes on Tuesday and Thursday, with the possibility of additional days to match potential workload.

For our staff, we offer a competitive package of benefits including private medical, dental, and vision insurance, and a discretionary yearly bonus based on annual compensation (dependent upon individual and company performance) as part of our company’s biannual performance review cycle.
We also offer milestone benefits, such as a 401k plan, with eligibility starting after 1 year, and a company share plan, with eligibility starting after 1 year, fully vested after 5 years.
Additionally, we offer 10 vacation days, 3 personal days, 11 paid holidays, 5 paid sick days, alternating summer Fridays and an employee appreciation week the last week of December.
