Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Directly present the value, attributes and characteristics of all Boeing airplane products to airlines, leasing companies, media, investors, appraisers and other key stakeholders
  • Represent Boeing Commercial Airplanes to high-level executives at airlines and leasing companies
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on Boeing's commercial sustainability strategy and educate the Boeing Sales and Marketing community on new information pertaining to Boeing and competitor products
  • Utilize customer, market, industry and product knowledge to creatively differentiate Boeing airplane products from competing offerings
  • Gather customer, competitor and industry intelligence from stakeholder engagements to help define airplane product requirements and guide sales strategies and business decisions
  • Participate in the development of sales campaign strategies, with particular focus on the creative use of sustainability elements to drive preference for the Boeing solution
  • Partner with comms, branding, and other functions to shape the development of coherent product Marcomm strategies
  • Create and manage product presentations and marketing content

Requirements

  • (Level: 4) 5+ years of technical or operational familiarity with Boeing commercial airplanes
  • 5+ years of implementing sustainability strategies for commercial aviation
  • 5 + years of experience in writing and presentation skills; producing, presenting presentations at the executive level and able to present complex information in a clear and simple way
  • Able to travel up to 20% of the time both domestically and internationally

Preferred

  • (Level: 5) 10+ years of technical or operational familiarity with Boeing commercial airplanes
  • Ability to translate from product and services offerings, capabilities (e.g. payloads, structures, performance, connectivity) and resulting economics, to technical / marketing messaging through the use of visual storytelling and business analytics methodologies
  • Bachelor's degree or MBA or equivalent business/higher education
