Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Define product positioning and messaging for the hardware and accessory portfolio. Partner with Product teams to integrate the user friendly features into development.
  • Analyze market trends, consumer data, and research to identify new opportunities (e.g., form factors, materials) and influence product and portfolio strategy.
  • Partner with Finance, PM, and Merchandising to optimize pricing, promotions, and portfolios to meet revenue and margin targets.
  • Coordinate alignments across Design, Engineering, Brand, Sales, and regional teams to ensure flawless execution of campaigns and product launches.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive, user-centric global GTM plans for new Fitbit devices, accessories, features, and collaborations, ensuring alignment across channels.
  • In this role, you will partner closely with Product Management, Engineering, Industrial Design, PR, GTM, Brand, Business Development, and Sales to shape the product development process and lead end-to-end global go-to-market (GTM) strategies. You will act as a trusted collaborative leader, leveraging deep user insights to influence cross-functional decision-making, optimize pricing and portfolio strategy, and ensure our product positioning resonates strongly to drive user personalization and business growth.
  • Know the user. Know the magic. Connect the two. At its core, marketing at Google starts with technology and ends with the user, bringing both together in unconventional ways. Our job is to demonstrate how Google's products solve the world's problems-from the everyday to the epic, from the mundane to the monumental. And we approach marketing in a way that only Google can-changing the game, redefining the medium, making the user the priority, and ultimately, letting the technology speak for itself.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in product marketing, brand marketing, consumer hardware or growth marketing.
  • Experience managing end-to-end product launches, lifecycle marketing initiatives or end-to-end go-to-market campaigns.
  • Experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.

Preferred

  • Experience leading business metrics (e.g., attachment rates, margins) and navigating ambiguity to launch products.
  • Experience utilizing AI productivity tools to solve complex problems and streamline business workflows.
  • Experience marketing consumer hardware, wearables, lifestyle electronics, or retail accessories.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate consumer insights and market analysis into strategic marketing briefs and business models.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders (Product, Engineering, Sales, Design) and lead un-siloed teams.
  • Strong narrative-building and communication skills to present strategic plans to creative teams and leadership.
