Product Manager, Retail E-Commerce

We’re looking for a high-ownership, guest-obsessed, and analytically sharp Product Manager, Retail E-Commerce to help shape the future of CAVA’s digital guest experience across our mobile app and website.

This role sits at the intersection of guest insights, digital product strategy, rapid experimentation, analytics, UX, engineering, marketing, and restaurant operations. You will identify high-impact opportunities, turn insights into hypotheses, launch tests quickly, measure outcomes rigorously, and scale the experiences that drive meaningful business results.

Success in this role requires someone who is self-led, highly collaborative, commercially minded, and energized by ambiguity. You should be just as comfortable digging into conversion funnels and guest behavior as you are partnering with designers, engineers, marketers, operators, and data teams to bring better digital experiences to life.

What You’ll Do:

Digital Product Strategy + Ownership

  • Own and evolve key areas of the CAVA mobile app and website guest experience, with a focus on e-commerce growth, digital ordering, personalization, discovery, and conversion.
  • Translate business goals, guest insights, digital analytics, and cross-functional priorities into clear product strategies, roadmaps, and execution plans.
  • Identify the highest-value opportunities across the digital funnel, including browse, menu discovery, customization, cart, checkout, reorder, loyalty, and post-order experiences.
  • Define clear problem statements, product hypotheses, success metrics, and learning agendas for new features, experiments, and optimizations.
  • Balance guest needs, business impact, operational feasibility, technical complexity, and speed-to-market when making product decisions.

Rapid Experimentation + Growth

  • Lead a rapid experimentation practice across CAVA’s app and web experiences, moving quickly from insight to idea to test to measurable outcome.
  • Develop and prioritize A/B tests, feature experiments, and iterative improvements designed to increase conversion, average order value, sessions, retention, frequency, and digital engagement.
  • Partner with Analytics, UX, Engineering, Marketing, CRM, Loyalty, and Operations to evaluate opportunities and build test plans with clear success criteria.
  • Use quantitative and qualitative insights to determine what to scale, iterate, or stop.
  • Build a culture of learning by documenting hypotheses, results, recommendations, and next steps in a way that is clear, actionable, and visible to stakeholders.

Guest Insights + Analytics

  • Deeply understand CAVA guests, their digital behaviors, pain points, motivations, and ordering needs across app and web.
  • Use analytics tools, funnel reporting, guest feedback, usability research, competitive insights, and operational inputs to uncover opportunities.
  • Monitor performance trends across key e-commerce metrics, including conversion rate, AOV, traffic/sessions, product engagement, cart abandonment, checkout completion, reorder behavior, and digital sales.
  • Partner with Data and Analytics teams to improve tracking, measurement, dashboards, and experimentation readouts.
  • Turn complex data into crisp insights, compelling narratives, and clear product recommendations.

Product Delivery + Development Lifecycle

  • Lead product discovery and delivery from concept through launch, partnering closely with Engineering, UX, QA, Analytics, Marketing, Loyalty, CRM, Operations, and external partners.
  • Write clear product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, test plans, launch plans, and stakeholder updates.
  • Manage backlog priorities and tradeoffs with urgency, clarity, and discipline.
  • Partner with Engineering to understand technical constraints, dependencies, sequencing, and opportunities, including where AI or automation can improve the guest or team experience.
  • Ensure launches are high-quality, operationally sound, on-brand, measurable, and built to learn.

Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Serve as a trusted product partner to teams across Digital, Technology, Marketing, Culinary, Operations, Finance, Guest Experience, Loyalty, and Data.
  • Bring structure and momentum to ambiguous opportunities, aligning stakeholders around the problem, the goal, the test, and the decision.
  • Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical audiences, including product updates, experiment results, tradeoffs, risks, and recommendations.
  • Build strong relationships across teams and create a collaborative environment where the best ideas can come from anywhere.
  • Stay current on retail, restaurant, e-commerce, mobile app, AI, personalization, loyalty, and digital ordering trends, and translate relevant opportunities into practical product ideas for CAVA.

The Qualifications:

Education + Experience

  • 4–6+ years of product management experience, preferably in retail, restaurant, hospitality, marketplace, consumer e-commerce, mobile app, digital ordering, loyalty, or growth product environments.
  • Proven experience driving measurable business outcomes through digital product improvements, experimentation, funnel optimization, or e-commerce growth.
  • Strong understanding of the product development lifecycle, including discovery, requirements, prioritization, delivery, QA, launch, measurement, and iteration.
  • Experience working closely with Engineering, UX Design, Analytics, Marketing, CRM, Loyalty, and Operations teams.
