Job Description

Company: Neuemotion

Job Title: Producer/Editor

Location: Remote, US

Salary Range: $65-78K

About Us

Neuemotion is an advertising agency that takes BIG brand marketing to definable social audiences with science-backed creative ideas. Our customers range from Fortune 100 companies to startups and small businesses. Our default mode of operation is "how can we help our clients succeed in their objectives?"

Founded by Ted Harrison, Twitter & X's former Head of Production, Neuemotion applies neuroscience to content marketing in a unique blend of science and art. Science-backed creative ideas. Built for human attention. That's Neuemotion.

Job Overview

We're looking for a Producer & Editor who can run a content workstream from brief to delivery and cut the work themselves. You are organized, fast, and edit-forward. You know what it means to be in the assistant editor seat, and you're ready to own the work end-to-end.

You'll sit inside Neuemotion's Production Team, reporting directly to Neuemotion's Associate Director of Production. The work spans content editing, production coordination, and asset management across a high volume of concurrent deliverables. You keep projects moving. You don't wait to be told what to do next.

Key Responsibilities

Editing

  • Log, edit, and color video content across formats, platforms, and aspect ratios
  • Deliver polished social-first cuts that reflect Neuemotion and brand standards
  • Take a hero asset and version it intelligently for distribution
  • Apply Neuemotion's neuroscience-backed principles to every edit — first-second visibility, human-centric framing, attention-holding pacing
  • Basic motion graphics, dynamic captions logos, intros, outros, etc.

Production

  • Coordinate across concurrent workstreams: track assets, manage timelines, flag blockers early
  • Work directly with the Associate Director of Production to anticipate client needs, prioritize and execute both post-production and production workflows.
  • Liaise between internal teams and client stakeholders to keep production on time and under budget.
  • Communicate clearly and problem-solve proactively: Work within the team to stay organized and aligned with project strategy, expectations, and accountability.

Platform & Performance

  • Adapt assets for platform-specific formats, specs, and performance standards
  • Bring genuine fluency in social-first content: you know the difference between a cut that works in feed and one that doesn't
  • Stay current on platform trends and format shifts; you're not guessing what works

What We’re Looking For

  • 3-4 years of experience in video editing and/or production, with a clear trajectory: assistant editor or production coordinator moving into a mid-level role
  • Comfortable in the edit bay and on a production schedule simultaneously
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro; working knowledge of After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator
  • Portfolio that shows editing range — social content, long-form cuts, platform adaptations
  • Agency or production company background required
  • Organized to a fault: you track details across multiple active projects without dropping anything

Bonus Points

  • Experience with asset versioning and optimization workflows
  • Familiarity with B2B brand content and the specific demands of that category
  • Experience working inside an agency or as a production contractor across multiple clients
  • Working knowledge of AI-assisted tools — voiceover, versioning, or motion assistance
  • Production coordinator credits alongside editing work
