Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Set and own the external communications strategy for Mid-Market, combining PR and Analyst Relations, anchored in a single goal: making Intuit the recognized, go-to platform for mid-market companies and their accounting firms.
  • Lead the Analyst Relations strategy and direct the Principal Analyst Relations Manager's day-to-day priorities, including the analyst calendar, briefings, inquiries, narrative, and inclusion in named evaluations and market reports (Gartner, IDC, Forrester, Constellation), while that role maintains its formal reporting line to the VP.
  • Build and run a communications approach that reaches the accounting and advisory community specifically, the trusted recommenders mid-market companies rely on, alongside traditional press and analyst audiences.
  • Orchestrate across Product Marketing, Corporate Communications, Brand, Platform PR, Investor Relations, and Legal so external messaging reflects one category-leadership narrative, not disconnected product news.
  • Direct external PR and AR agency partners against that strategy, holding them accountable to market-position outcomes rather than activity.
  • Use executive visibility (press interviews, bylines, LinkedIn thought leadership, analyst briefings) as a deliberate lever to advance Intuit's standing with analysts and the accounting channel, equipping EVP/SVP spokespeople accordingly.
  • Represent Mid-Market Comms in planning for major company moments, including quarterly product releases, brand campaigns, and flagship events, ensuring they ladder into the larger category-leadership story.
  • Define and own the metrics that matter: analyst sentiment and placement, share of voice, accounting-channel visibility, and message pull-through, and adjust strategy based on what the data shows.
  • Build and maintain source-of-truth documentation for narrative, key messages, and editorial standards across every function that touches external communications.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in external communications, PR, and/or analyst relations, built in B2B SaaS, fintech, or enterprise software; mid-market or enterprise segment experience strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to connect communications strategy to market-position outcomes, such as category leadership, win rates, or competitive standing, not just coverage or sentiment.
  • Experience building communications programs aimed at a trusted-advisor or channel audience (accounting firms, VARs, consultants, or similar), in addition to traditional press and analysts.
  • A track record leading cross-functionally across marketing, comms, investor relations, and corporate communications; able to set direction for people and functions you don't formally manage.
  • Fluency in how Gartner, IDC, Forrester, and Constellation evaluate and cover vendors, with demonstrated success influencing named-vendor placement and sentiment in their research.
  • Experience counseling and equipping senior executives (EVP/SVP level) as one tool in a broader strategy, not as the primary scope of the role.
  • Experience directing external PR and/or AR agencies and holding them to a shared strategy and bar of quality.
  • Strong independent judgment and the ability to build and run a strategic program with minimal oversight.

Benefits

  • Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. This position may be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits).
