Job Description

Account Coordinator

Responsibilities:

The PR Agency Account Coordinator is responsible for supporting account teams and internal company plans in daily activities. They will learn ColorComm’s processes/procedures, including client engagement, external messaging, social media campaigns and stakeholder engagement.

Expected competencies include:

· Demonstrate a clear understanding of the communications, advertising, and marketing industry

· Demonstrate basic principles of media relations and influencer and community engagement

· Provide client service administration including preparing status reports, scheduling meetings, developing project trackers, client coverage reports,

· Research, outline, write, edit and proofread materials, including media and influencer pitches, press releases and online content

· Understand internal operations and team collaboration

· Participate in the new business process including research, audits and preparation of proposals

· Provide administrative support for team

Qualifications:

This is a fast-past entry-level account position. This person will be thoughtful, proactive, organized, and always one step ahead of the assignment. Good interpersonal communications are a must and the ability to be thoughtful and go beyond the task in everyday assignments are key.

· Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field from an accredited college or university is preferred

· 1-3 years of experience

· Previous internship or job experience in the communications field

· Strong researching skills and possess a keen interest in the communications, marketing, advertising, media industry.

Salary Range

$48,000- $53,000

Schedule:

Monday – Friday

9am – 5:30pm in Midtown Manhattan

*Candidates must already live in NYC or the surrounding Metro Area
