Responsibilities

• Attend scheduled on-site content capture sessions
• Capture vertical video content for Reels, TikToks, and Shorts
• Edit short-form videos for social media
• Capture still photos for social media, ads, stories, carousels, and marketing use
• Collaborate on content concepts, shot lists, and creative direction
• Help identify strong moments, angles, hooks, transitions, and visual opportunities while filming
• Capture candid, natural, social-first content without everything feeling overly staged
• Give light direction to people on camera when needed
• Create polished, engaging edits that match the brand and platform
• Organize and deliver raw footage, photos, and edited content in a timely manner

Requirements

• Has experience creating social-first photo and video content
• Understands Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and current content trends
• Can shoot and edit short-form videos
• Has a good eye for beauty, wellness, lifestyle, education, service-based businesses, products, or ad creative
• Can make content look polished but still natural and engaging
• Is comfortable filming people, products, services, behind-the-scenes moments, interviews, and events
• Can work from a creative brief while also bringing their own ideas and expertise
• Knows how to build or contribute to a shot list
• Can suggest what types of shots, angles, or content formats will perform well
• Is reliable, organized, and easy to communicate with
